Mandy & Jimmy's rehearsal

The afternoon before the wedding, Mandy & Jimmy had a rehearsal lunch on the Majestic Princess out of North Palm. It was a great opportunity for Matt & I to catch a lot of candid portraits of their friends and family as we boated down the intercoastal. We don't typically post many miscellaneous shots of the guests so, we're excited to add these to the blog to show the variety in the photos we take. ;)

Lisa & Mark

We spent the weekend in Orlando to take photographs of Lisa & Mark's wedding; what a BLAST! Lisa was willing to do whatever, even if that meant laying in the GRASS in her wedding dress! I couldn't believe it! (The dress was perfectly fine by the way!) She and Mark were a wonderful couple, so easy to work with.

Matt had a lot of fun using the strobes on the giant dance floor, catching these killer shots of the garter/bouquet toss. I really love the style he's developed.
It was such a blast to get back into wedding mode, we're ready for more!

Engagements & Save-The-Dates

Dayna & Mark

As I wrote about when I shot Dayna and Mark's engagement shoot (Engagement Photos), Dayna and I met as childhood friends years and years ago. It was super cool that she found me online and even COOLER that she liked my photography so much as to ask Matt and I to shoot her wedding.

This was our first cross-country trip for a wedding, and it went really well. Our plan is to continue to work in both Florida and Oregon because we really love life in Portland but also enjoy any excuse to visit our friends and family in the sunshine state.

Dayna and Mark put on a lovely celebration for their friends and fam at the Samba room after vowing their dedication to one another at a nearby church; great wedding. Congrats Dayna and Mark and thank you internet social networking sites! :)
